  Our Name...

Ken Smith was a great friend to the referee community, was always there to help a developing young referee and enjoyed playing golf when time allowed.

With his untimely passing on April 19, 2008, the scholarship fund and scramble have been renamed in his honor.

Ken
the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time....

Effective June 1, 2009, the Ken Smith Memorial Scramble became Incorporated in the State of Texas.

Also effective on that date, the IRS officially recognized the Ken Smith Memorial Scramble as a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
